Fallen Angel

The fallen angel is a theme I have revisited several times in my career...last time I did one over 6 feet tall...this however is the first I have done in three dimension and in wood...it is 5'x3' and painted in latex enamel....

Folk Dancers

I have been working on this piece for several months now...it is 6'x4' cut out of wood and giving me fits with the color scheme...

New Groove

The latest assignment I had was to teach a group of young writers to express their emotions through painting...the paintings then will be auctioned off and the proceeds help fund the play the writers have created..all part of a inovative program for youth in arts.
The program asked me to create a piece for the auction as well..

3 Dimensional Wood Pieces

This piece was one of the first I created using the old wood from the barn that was demolished in the back yard. It is about 4'x3' and was painted with latex acrylics.
This piece is aproximately 6'x3'. Unseen at the top is a large leaf and a tropical bird. It is composed of several layers of wood. Each leaf and plant stem is seperate from the back. The figure of the woman also is its own seperate piece. It is painted in laytex acrylic.
This piece is aproximately 5'x5'. Composed of several layers of wood on a plywood substrate. Painted with latex acrylics.
